Students begin taking courses in summer prior to the fall semester. Up to 12 units from an accredited graduate program may be transferred at the discretion of the program director. The program consists of 2 years of full-time graduate study for a 64-unit Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Counseling with a specialization in School Counseling and the California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential for School Counseling. The school counseling credential requires a minimum of 50 semester units of coursework in the advanced component listed below.
